1 john 3:18-20

Dear children, let us stop just saying we love each other; let us really show it by our actions. It is by our actions that we know we are living in the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before the Lord, even if our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.

loren and i on CSU's campus being our normal selves :)

i had a really good run with loren, luke, and daniel this morning. loren was really congested due to a cold she has and it is causing her chest much pain, especially when she breathes heavily. luke isn't feeling well either, i think he may have some stomach bug; it's been bothering him for about 3 days. i was very pleasantly surprised that daniel could run with us since this was his first day and for me, loren, and luke it was about the 9th or something like that. i went 40 minutes again today. i really need to get a good hour run soon, probably tomorrow on the treadmill. sad day yet still happy.

God is teaching me so many things like how to control my jealousy and anger, also that i have the choice in what my attitude should be for any given day. it's incredible that if you tell yourself "today sucks", the day is going to absolutely own you, but if you decide to conquer and seize the day, you win hands down. i have gotten to spend alot of time with children lately, and it confirms my love for them, i sincerely enjoy playing with kids and getting on their level. i can't wait to start my future because then i will get to be around kids 24-7. good life of a teacher/coach.

with a smiling face and positive attitude....and very hungry tummy,

  1. i love the plethora of nicknames that you have! I am really happy for you. I love reading everything about your stay in Colorado. You're clearly passionate about teaching the Word to others. I have some religious experience I must tell you about. Remind me!
